PC Professional was founded in 1981 by CEO Dan Sanguinetti in Oakland, CA. What began as a one-man computer shop selling mail-order PCs quickly grew into a full-fledged computer service operation, thanks to a rise in demand for computers and computer expertise at that time.
The business started in an apartment, moved to a house, and then to an office—and by that time, we were installing everything we sold.
